Farrier Services
What about my horse?
Brad Erickson is a graduate of Mission
Farrier
School
in Snohomish, Washington,
the world’s first and foremost farrier educational program
devoted to Natural Balance science with an emphasis on traditional
craftsmanship. He specializes in using Natural Balance principles
to maintain the healthy horse as well as to treat soundness and
pathology cases including laminitis, navicular symptoms, club feet,
stumbling and other gait faults. He offers a full range of farrier services from barefoot trims to custom, hand-made
therapeutic shoes.
In our farrier practice, along with quality workmanship, we pride ourselves in a prompt call back if you catch
the voice mail. We also promise accurate "on-time" appointments. Since it's so
hard to predict how a long day of shoeing horses will go, if we ever
anticipate a problem, you can count on a call to report on our status.
After graduating from
college and working in an office, Brad married a "horse girl" and found
a hidden passion
for horseshoeing. It became clear that he needed to use his mind in an occupation
where he could also use his hands - coupled with his growing love for
horses. He works hard to further his skills and promote
quality services.
Brad recently
relocated from Missouri to New Hampshire with his wife, Julie, and children Boman and Ivy, aged 2 and 1. We're
accepting new clients who
are dedicated to the health and soundness of their horse and who are willing to work as a member of a three-part team: Owner, equine, farrier.
When
he's not under a horse, Brad enjoys
traditional archery, backpacking with his family and serving in his church.
Please call or email for our rates and service
area or just to chat about your horse. We look forward to meeting you!
